PUBG - week one
PUBG - Player unknowns battleground - is the first game I've played in a long time that has actually made me feel something. So far, those feelings are nervous, angry and frustrated.
I haven't played many mathces. Nor have I played first person shooters on a laptop since Doom 2. I played some shooters in my Playstation days, but those had autofocus and a controller. It's a completely different thing.
What I'm getting at is that I suck at PUBG. Massivly.
The first games I played were my best, probably because I was so nervous that I kept in the background. Then I tried different tactics, and got gradually worse until I got so frustrated that I just found a car and drove around until I was shot.
I've realized something. As a family man, I will never be good at this game. The best players are kids who play several hours each day and thousands of hours in total. I can play perhaps 30 minutes or an hour a couple of times a week. I will never get better fast enough.
I do improve. My looting is getting better. I will always be a bad player, but perhaps someday I wont be the worst player.
