Tone of voice

I'm just going to come out and say it: I loath Mailchimp.

They're just so ... annoying, and it hits me in the guts every time they try to be funny.

It doesn't mean I'm wrong or that they are wrong. I just means - you can't please everyone. When you pick a personality, you are going to clash with someone.

Innocense is too cutesy and BrewDog tries too hard. Or is Innocense simply cute and BrewDog hilariously ballsy?

In some sense, you cannot not have a tone of voice. Even being bland is a style and a personality. Some people are going to have gut wrenching reactions to the standard, correct way of writing.

So. You pick. Having no flare is safest. Mostly people just want to get stuff done. The less panash you wave around, the less feathers you brush in their faces as they try to achieve it.

Then again, I like minimalism. Maybe I'm just arguing for my own taste?
